Working together we can Build a Better Bambi

Call Bambi Lake at 989-275-5844 to get involved!

Summer Missions and Work Teams are only two of the many ways you and your church

can serve God by helping develop and improve Bambi Lake.

The Wilson building (left) is one example of how God has provided

for Bambi Lake through gracious gifts from local church members

who felt called to support this wonderful ministry.

A matching funds campaign raised the money for the down

payment on the property when it was purchased in 1958,

and every building constructed has been paid for 100%.

No debts are owed on Bambi or any of its structures.

Through the gifts of local churches,

Bambi's opportunities have grown!

You can join the work God is doing at Bambi Lake.

Gifts can be made to the Build a Better Bambi fund at any time. Different ways to provide for current needs include:

bullet

Sending a check to Bambi Lake or the BSCM offices (see addresses below), designated to "Build a Better Bambi."

bullet

Taking up an offering for BBB at your church

bullet

Providing materials or equipment for specific projects

bullet

Praying for those who work on BBB projects

To Show Our Gratitude

We deeply appreciate the many thoughtful and generous gifts that our churches and their members

provide throughout the year. A BBB Pin will be sent to those who contribute as follows:

bullet

Gifts of $1,000 or more - Gold Pin

bullet

Gifts of $500-$999 - Silver Pin

bullet

Gifts of $50-$499 - Bronze Pin

You also may provide a gift in someone's name (a graduate, pastor, parent, etc.) and the person named also will receive a pin.

Current Building Project

The Master Plan for building projects at Bambi Lake has been designed to ultimately accommodate 600 persons at Bambi Lake. Build a Better Bambi donations will be be applied to constructing a new housing unit with hotel-type housing (2 double beds and a private bathroom per room) and dormitory housing (16 beds and 2 bathrooms per dormitory). The unit will be constructed on the cleared land up the prayer chapel trail near the Wilson Building.

We Have: $ 99,230.31

We Need: $ 120,000.00

With only $21,000 in donations, we can begin work on the new housing unit.

Similar housing units eventually will be constructed along the road which was expanded in Summer 2005. Future plans for Bambi include building a new chapel by the lake with a capacity for 600 guests. When the new chapel is constructed, the Wilson building will be used primarily as a cafeteria with seating for 600.

Two new Recreation Facilities have been planned: a gym for indoor recreation and a covered swimming pool. In the campground, 24 new sites and an additional both house will be made available for summer campers. A staff house also will be added to provide additional housing, including an 8-bed dorm for summer staff or work teams.
